Have you tried making a Breakfast Bowl yet? Breakfast Bowls are a quick and easy breakfast that includes any of your favorite ingredients. Whether you prefer savory or sweet, these bowls are tailored to whatever your preference may be.
Here are some things to try when you make your own breakfast bowl.
1. Add a protein source to keep you full.
When we include a protein source in our meals and snacks, it keep us satiated and satisfied.
Eggs
Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese
Tofu/Tempeh
Beans
Nuts and Seeds
2. Use leftover ingredients.
Adding in leftover ingredients from the day before is a great way to save money and time. For savory bowls, top your bowl off with a hard-boiled or poached egg, leftover cooked chicken and vegetables, or grains from last night’s dinner. For sweet bowls, blend up pre-cut fruits for a base, or include them as a topping for your bowl.
3. Choose a variety of textures and flavors.
If you decide to create a creamy smoothie bowl made of fruit and milk, top it off with some crunchy ingredients like granola, nuts, or seeds. Including more variety with texture makes the meal flavorful and enjoyable.
