With the warmer weather months coming, we are often looking for refreshing snack ideas to help us cool off. Here are some of our dietitians’ personal favorites:

• Trü Frü – Frozen fruit with chocolate or yogurt coatings.
• Jonny Pops – Frozen treats with simple ingredients.
• Diana’s Bananas – Frozen chocolate covered bananas.
• Gutzy pouches – Refreshing fruit and vegetable blends.
• Yasso bars – Frozen Greek yogurt bars.
• Wyman’s Just Fruit cups– Frozen fruit bites in a cup.
• Nature’s Garden Yoggies – Fruit bites coated in yogurt.
• Mamma Chia pouches– Blended fruit with chia seeds in a pouch.
Creamy Watermelon Pops
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of frozen watermelon
- 3/4 cup milk of your choice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend for about 20-30 seconds until the mixture is smooth. The mixture should be foamy.
- Divide into paper cups and freeze partially before putting in popsicle sticks. Place back into freezer to fully freeze the popsicles.
- Store popsicles in freezer.
