Virtual 5Ks

Recent public health concerns related to COVID-19 has caused many of us to feel stuck at home and stressed. Events have been canceled, plans have been postponed, worry about the safety of loved ones has filled our minds. Getting some movement in can help reduce anxiety and boost feel-good hormones. Whether you are a runner, walker, or just looking for something new, virtual 5Ks are a great way to get moving.
There are many options for virtual 5Ks. Some are free, some have a registration fee, and some are for charity. Many offer swag like a medal, t-shirt, or bag for joining. All you need to do is pick which race you would like to register for and run! Some have specific dates, and some encourage you to run or walk whenever it works best for you.
Here are a few sites offering virtual races.***

*These sites offer events to benefit COVID-19 relief charities.
