|Cajun Shrimp Kabobs|
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails left on
12 ounces any light beer
1 yellow onion, quartered, then halved
1 green bell pepper, quartered, then halved
1 red bell pepper, quartered, then halved
1 yellow bell pepper, quartered, then halved
1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons lime juice
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
2. Remove shrimp and veggies from marinade and arrange on skewers, alternating shrimp and veggies.
3. Place skewers on medium-hot grill. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Enjoy with a side of rice, in a taco, or over a salad.
